Whether he/she has a head unit to start with, if a subwoofer (which is always recommended) is acceptable in terms of space, any consideration in speaker choices are bound by constraints and modifications required (i.e. mounting larger drivers on a BMW etc.) and many other factors to bear in mind. Our goal is to find out what the consumer wants out of the system, music preference/taste and in almost most cases, educate them on what they should look out for because many of them have no idea what they want. Also, in many instances, consumers have a wrong perception/idea of what car audio and good sound is all about. We use only branded gears from Focal, Vifa, Zapco, Mcintosh, van den hul cabling, JL subwoofers, basic power conditioning upgrades using mundorf/vcap, possibly custom crossover/passive *mundorf/duelund* where budget permits, so we would not deviate far in terms of quality of gears we offer. Having said that, we DO NOT PUSH brands, we offer solutions, so there is no point for me to list it out because each solution is customized. If you are keen, come to discuss, learn and listen.
